Advocacy for ACT people living with pain, their carers and families
Pain Support ACT works to see that government help for people in pain is of high quality and is accessible. We speak up for people in pain.
We also work with other organisations for improvements which affect not just people in pain but all health care consumers. Pain Support is a member of the Health Care Consumers’ Association of the ACT (HCCA).
We contribute to or write submissions to government. Occasionally our Committee of management writes to particular Members of the ACT Legislative Assembly to raise issues where change is needed.
For more information contact the Secretary at 62811036. Members are always invited to participate in advocacy work.
